TATE is Committed to a Wide Range of Charitable Causes
The employees of TATE are as committed to their causes as they are to
providing
personnel recovery solutions and training to the U.S. Government.
Listed below are the major charitable organizations to which we have
donated either time or funding in support of our employees.

The mission of the American Red Cross Disaster Services is to ensure nationwide disaster planning, preparedness, community disaster education, mitigation and response that will provide the American people with quality services in a timely manner. TATE donated to the humanitarian relief efforts in response to Hurricane Katrina.

The Avon Foundation was founded in 1955 with the mission to improve the lives of women and their families, and in this 50th year the mission continues with a commitment to the eradication of breast cancer and the advancement of women's empowerment, focused on the issue of domestic violence. This year, we are sponsoring an employee's daughter, as she walks 26 miles in support of this very important cause.

The center is an independent, nonprofit biomedical research institution
and is one of the 39 National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive
cancer centers nationwide. The institute employs world-renowned
scientists and humanitarians to work together to prevent, diagnose
and treat cancer. We sponsored one of our employees as he climbed
Mt. Kilimanjaro, focusing international attention on the need
for funding and awareness for cancer research.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation is committed to providing research grants and community programs in an attempt to fight the causes of cancer. The ubiquitous yellow bracelets signify a national unity toward this goal. TATE is sponsoring one of its employees in the Ride for the Roses, the October 2005 100-mile ride in Austin, Texas.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) provides college
scholarship grants, based on need, along with financial aid and
educational counseling to the children of Special Operations personnel
who were killed in an operational mission or training accident.

The Young Marines is a not-for-profit youth education program
for boys and girls ages 8 through high school. The program focuses
on character building through a combination of self-discipline,
teamwork and leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

This organization is a private, nonprofit, community-based social
service agency, focused along the impoverished Route 1 corridor
in Alexandria, VA. UCM's mission is to assist families and individuals
in the areas of emergency assistance, employment placement and
training, developmental childcare, youth services, housing services
and homelessness prevention. TATE donates funding, food and clothing,
focusing on the families that are located near our offices in
Fort Belvoir, VA.

Other Causes
In addition to the local and national causes identified above,
TATE sponsors employees in fishing tournaments (although they
never win!) and other recreational events, supporting both
the recreational and charitable aspects of the employees. |
